COURSE DESCRIPTION:
THIS COURSE PROVIDES THE NECESSARY FOUNDATION FOR THE SURGICAL
TECHNOLOGIST’S PERFORMANCE AS A MEMBER OF THE SURGICAL TEAM. IT IS THE STUDY
OF THE ROLE OF THE SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST’S. IT WILL FOCUS ON SURGICAL
PRINCIPLES, TECHNIQUES, AND SURGICAL PROCEDURES.
