Students in this course will be counseled by industry and faculty mentors. Prerequisites: TEC-203 or permission of the Department Head Course Credits: 1 credit (6 hours of laboratory) Student Learning Objectives: The student will be able to: 1. Comprehend the requirements of the science laboratory environment in industry. 2. Demonstrate the use of state of the art laboratory equipment. 3. Interpret data from state of the art laboratory equipment. 4. Arrange contacts between the students and prospective employees in industry. Means of Assessment: Students will be assessed through one or more of the following: 1. Satisfactory completion of the project. 2. Presentation of a seminar at the intern site on the results of the project. 3.
